Source: vipticketblog.com

Rush hit the stage last night in Atlanta, GA, to kick off its Snakes & Arrows World Tour, which is set to cross North America and Europe into late October. The Canadian prog-rock trio recently added a Sept. 17 stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to close out the US portion of the trek. Details for the North American run–Rush’s first since its 30th anniversary tour in 2004–are listed below. The European leg, which launches Oct. 3 in Glasgow, Scotland, is detailed at the group’s website.

Rush is supporting last month’s “Snakes & Arrows,” which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album is the band’s first set of new material since 2002’s “Vapor Trails.” The first single from the new record, “Far Cry,” made the Top 10 on rock-radio charts and the second single, “Spindrift,” is currently making the rounds.
