Kanye West Show Light On UK – Glow In The Dark Tour

Kanye West is poised to bring back his acclaimed Glow In The Dark tour back to the shores of the UK.

Kanye WestIt has been announced that Kanye West will return back to the UK in November 08, after playing several successful engagements last winter.

The show arrives at the O2 Arena in London on November 12 and the music star will then head to Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow before rounding off with a gig at the MEN Arena in Manchester on November 17.

Tickets for this show have already begun to sell. Get your tickets for this highly anticipated show.

Madonna Sticky and Sweet World Tour

madonnaThe material girl was spotted this week perparing for her next masterpiece, the Sticky and Sweet world tour, which will kick off at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on August 23.  This will be a must see concert that will promote her new album Hard Candy, her new and fantastic album.

Madonna is also one of a few artist that are embracing the new internet serge when it comes to ticket sales.  Madonna is reporting to have embraced the notion of secondary ticket sales from sites like Viagogo an secondary ticketing company.  Most artist are not a liberal as they tend to only sell their tickets to primary promoters like ticketmaster.

Mainly other artists have stated that they are losing money by letting secondary companies resell their tickets.  As well as they can’t guarantee that the tickets sold are authentic.  But secondary ticketing companies like Viagogo are now coming up with guarantees that protect the buyer from fraudulent activities.  Which is definitely a positive in this industry.

Look out old thinking artists.  Madonna is blazing a trail that many of you will have to travel down some day.  As for Madonna, she has definitely got her business cap on straight.  Don’t forget to check out her tour in Augest.

Guitar Amp Emercgency

I’m not sure what they are using now but if any friendly readers in Ohio can help…

They will be in NYC on Friday if anyone there can lend a hand?

This Is Chris Rose posting. In Chicago my amp fell off a doly on cement and has since stopped working. I fixed a broken tube the next day but it was giving me 25% of the power upon further inspection the amp stopped working (making sound at all) A friend in Columbus looked at it and thinks the output transformer is broke. I’m bringing it in tomorrow but have no time to wait a week or even a cupple days.
Any suggestions?

If it is dead I found a Roland JC-120 jazz chours that seems comparible dose anyone Know this amp? It seems good haven’t played it yet.

p.s. I actual almost shed a tear when I head my Traynor might be dead.”

Dosh & POS @ Uptown Bar

Not only will POS be doing a not-so-rare secret set, but, Martin Dosh will also be sitting in for a unique improvisational performance with Ryan Olcott on Bends & James Buckley on Bass (Both of Mystery Palace.) Collectively they will form the Foodteam Trio.

To make this show happen Dosh will be flying back early from Texas where he is working on the new Andrew Bird record.

Iron & Wine Finally Return To Minneapolis

Iron & Wine haven’t played in the Twin Cities since April of 2005 (with a little band called Horses opening, eventually to be renamed Band of Horses), will return to First Avenue on June 11th.

Tickets are $22 and go onsale April 2nd.
