Soul singer Mary J. Blige, and Hip hop musician Jay-Z unveiled dates of their co-headlining North American tour in 2008. The trek kicks off March 22 in Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Included below current tour itinerary lists 10 dates up to the middle of April. Blige, and Jay-Z will visit Philadelphia (PA), Toronto (ON), Boston (MA), Los Angeles (CA), and other cities. More dates will be announced in near future. Latest Jay-Z studio album American Gangster hit stores in November, and sold more than 400,000 copies in first week. Mary J. Blige released in December disk Growing Pains which debuted at Number 2 on the Billboard Top 200.

Morcheeba Planned North American Tour in Spring 2008

British Trip-hop outfit Morcheeba announced North American tour to be conducted in spring 2008. The trek kicks off March 24 in Washington (DC), includes 15 dates in US, and Canada, and wraps up April 13 in Los Angeles’ Henry Fonda Theatre. The band will visit Philadelphia (PA), New York (NY), Montreal (QB), Toronto (ON), Chicago (IL), Denver (CO), Seattle (WA), San Francisco (CA), and other markets. After that Morcheeba will have a bunch of concerts in Europe. Brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey will perform on this tour with vocalists Manda, and Bradley Burgess. Latest Morcheeba album Dive Deep has been released February 4 and features lead single “Enjoy the Ride”.

Gigantour 2008 Dates Announced

Californian metallists Megadeath heralded schedule of Gigantour 2008. North American leg of the trek includes 29 dates, kicks off April 12 in Denver’s The Fillmore, and wraps up May 22 in Mesa (AZ). Megadeath is tour’s headliner; other acts are In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job For a Cowboy, and High on Fire. In North America Gigantour will hit Dallas (TX), Houston (TX), Atlanta (GA), New York (NY), Baltimore (MD), Montreal (QB), Toronto (ON), Cleveland (OH), Chicago (IL), and other markets. The Wiggles Launch First North American Tour of 2008

Australian children’s music group The Wiggles announced dates of their first North American tour in 2008. The trek called “Pop Go the Wiggles Live!” kicks off March 21 in Tacoma (WA), and wraps up April 19 in Vancouver’s PNE Coliseum. Tour itinerary (see below) lists 18 dates with 2 shows in most cities. The Wiggles will visit Portland (OR), San Jose (CA), Reno (NV), Los Angeles (CA), San Diego (CA), El Paso (TX), Glendale (AZ), and other markets. In 2007 group released three disks: Dorothy The Dinosaur, Wiggle and Learn - Getting Strong, and Pop Go The Wiggles.

Hard rock band Clutch after 2-month break continues North American tour in 2008 supporting its latest album. Current tour itinerary lists 27 dates from late February to late March with 2-day stays in Cambridge (MA), and in San Francisco (CA). Clutch also will visit Toronto (ON), Chicago (IL), Minneapolis (MN), Kansas City (MO), Seattle (WA), Portland (OR), San Diego (CA), Cincinnati (OH), and other markets. Last band’s studio album From Beale Street to Oblivion hit stores in April 2007. Australian Pop singer Sia Furler announced North American 2008 tour dates, as she is backing her upcoming album. The trek kicks off February 15 in Solana Beach (CA), includes 22 dates, and wraps up 15 March in Dallas’ House of Blues. Sia will give concerts in San Francisco (CA), Portland (OR), Vancouver (BC), Seattle (WA), Boulder (CO), Chicago (IL), Toronto (ON), New York (NY), Houston (TX), and in other cities. New artist’s album Some People Have Real Problems is scheduled to release January 8. In addition to solo career Sia is collaborating with Zero 7. Christian Soft-Rock band Casting Crowns added new dates in its 2008 tour itinerary as the band continues to back its new album. The trek kicks off January 31 in Oklahoma City’s Ford Center, includes currently near 50 dates stretched to the end of spring.
