The Charlatans have announced a May UK tour, following their announcement of their Forest show in June. Some of the few of the brit-pop era to make it through to the 00’s and still be successful, this jaunt will probably accompany some new material. (Does that sound halfway believable?)

The Forestry Commission has announced their artists for summer 2008’s summer series. This year sees KT Tunstall, The Charlatans, Crowded House and Status Quo all rock various forests around the UK. XFM have announced details of a string of Winter Wonderland UK Tour dates, with all sorts of megastars lined up to play some sensational gigs.

As with previous years, all dates are in aid of Shelter, the homeless charity.

Tickets go on sale next Friday (9th November) at 9am, but many of the headlining bands and XFM members can get them as soon as next Wednesday or Thursday by pre-registering or such like.

The Charlatans have released details of two shows in November to showcase some new material. They have a new single, ‘You Cross My Path’ which will probably be on the shelves in October.

Tickets for the two shows go on sale this Friday (September 21) at 9:30am.
