Reggae band 311 and hip-hop star Snoop Dogg are teaming up for a summer tour that is labeled “Unity Tour”.  The outing is set to kick off June 24 in Phoenix and travel from the West Coast to the East Coast, with a two-night finale Aug. 2-3 in Austin, TX. Special guest Fiction Plane will open the shows, which will be held primarily in amphitheaters.

Reggae-Rock band 311 (get 311 Tickets) has released some more information about their upcoming tour.  Instead of doing a short 10 city tour leading up to 3-11 day in New Orleans, they are going to be out on the road for five weeks playing some cities that they don’t normally stop at.  Even Canada is getting some 311 this go around!

The tour is scheduled to launch Feb. 22 in Las Vegas and visit US cities from coast to coast before crossing over to Canada and then wrapping with a March 31 gig in Seattle.

Reggae-rock band 311 from Omaha Nebraska is lining up some dates before the big 3-11 day in New Orleans.  The band expects to play about 10 shows during the US outing, which is scheduled to kick off Feb. 22 in Las Vegas. So far, concerts are also confirmed in Tulsa, OK; Richmond, VA; Cypress, FL; and Tallahassee, FL. The trek will culminate March 11 with 3-11 Day at the New Orleans Arena.

It is uknown at this time if 311 will be adding more dates to the tour.  I wouldn’t think so as they are working on their next album while in Los Angeles.  I’d recommend getting to one of these shows and not hope for more dates to be added.  (Find 311 Tickets Here)
