Ken Ludwig’s new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic coming-of-age tale follows the adventures of young cabin boy Jim Hawkins, and his attempts to outwit the legendary pirate, Long John Silver, in a search for buried treasure. Packed with rip-roaring action, swashbuckling swordplay, battling buccaneers and the promise of a hidden fortune, Treasure Island will be a thrilling and much-loved treat for all the family.

Star of stage and screen Keith Allen, recently seen as the devilishly charming, yet vicious Sheriff Vaysey of Nottingham in the acclaimed BBC series Robin Hood, will star as the cunning yet loveable rogue Long John Silver.

The Killers’ third collection of new material, ‘Day And Age’, is said by frontman Brandon Flowers to be ‘a continuation’ of the concept used for their second album, ‘Sam’s Town’. Produced by Stuart Price – who the band came across after hecreated the ‘Thin White Duke’ remix of ‘Mr Brightside’ – this is their first original release in two years. The distinctive Paul Normansell-designed artwork that houses ‘Day And Age’ has received praise from many critics including MTV, while the album itself includes the single ‘Human’.

Big Head Todd and the Monsters announced new dates of their US trek. Alt-rockes from Denver plan to give 20 concerts from December 2008 to April 2009. They will visit Denver (CO), Minneapolis (MN), Milwaukee (WI), New York (NY), Washington (DC), Philadelphia (PA), San Francisco (CA), and some other markets. The band is touring in support of their latest album “All The Love You Need”. Nickelback to tour with Seether and Saving Abel

Nickelback who is fresh off releasing a top 5 album has announced plans for a spring tour that has Seether and Saving Abel opening up for the show. As of right now, the tour is planned to make stops in over 30 cities. There are some shows in the eastern area of the USA and up into Canada but it appears that most of the shows are in the Mid-West.

Tickets for this tour are going to go fast in my opinon. You can still sign up to the Nickelback fan club to get presale opportunities and I recommend you do that if you want tickets close to the stage. I know I’m personally going to pay the $25 for the fan club membership just so I can secure good seats. Tickets will start to go on sale Nov 28th via the fan club.
