Metallica fans, get ready once again because the greatest band of all time will be hitting the roads for an upcoming tour for their “Death Magnetic” album.  The head-banging quartet will hit the North American tour trail in late October, and is currently poised to touch down in more than 30 cities through the end of January.

Opening up for the band will be Sword.  On select dates, Down, Lamb Of God, and Machine Head will also open up for Metallica.  As with other ticket sales with Metallica, MetClub members will have the first chance at tickets.  A date has not been released for when tickets will go on sale, so stay tuned and always check with our partners at stubhub!

Have you been wanting to check out legendary rockers ZZ Top up close and personal?  Well you are going to have your chance in September and October.  ZZ Top has planned a “intimate” tour that will have them playing in smaller venues and theaters.  This will be a great opportunity for all the rock fans out there to check out a great show and be close to these great rockers.

Punk singer/songwriter Henry Rollins heralded dates of his fall 2008 North American tour. The trek of his spoken word shows kicks off September 18 in Ames (IA), lists now nearly 40 dates with last concert on November 10 in Salt Lake City (UT). Artist will perform in Nashville (TN), Atlanta (GA), Dallas (TX), Las Vegas (NV), San Diego (CA), Vancouver (British Columbia), Edmonton (Alberta), Chicago (IL), Toronto (Ontario), New York (NY), Boston (MA), Philadelphia (PA), and in other cities. In 2007 Henry released two DVDs “Uncut from NYC”, and “San Francisco 1990?, and played in Dale Murphy’s horror movie “Wrong Turn 2: Dead End”.
