Black Kids Concert Tour - Partie Traumatic

Black KidsPartie Traumatic

The Black Kids are now selling tickets for their latest tour. The tour will come to a number of towns including Newcastle, Oxford, Nottingham and a number of other locations.

‘Partie Traumatic’ is the debut LP release from indie rock darlings Black Kids, a bracing and invigorating affair with no small amount of hype behind it. Produced by ex-Suede guitarist Bernard Butler and featuring the singles ‘I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You’ and ‘HurricaneJane’, this record balances the zeal of youth with an arch, almost literary twist. Though the songs themselves are rip-roaring, the sentiments behind them often sum up simple emotional and social truths deftly. With influences ranging from60s guitar pop to 80s post-punk, ‘Partie Traumatic’ is intelligent and fun guitar music for the naughties audience.

Come out and see this dynamic group LIVE in Concert!!!

Tina Turner Announced 2008-2009 Tour Dates

Source: soundchronicle.com

Tina Turner

The legendary Tina Turner at 68 is taking center stage again after a lapse of 7 years. With 8 Grammy awards and a mention in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Her concerts are the most awaited. She’ll be touring the United States and Europe between October this year and April, 2009. Her selection of music will obviously include her hit numbers churned out through her expansive music career. The concerts promise vow to woo audiences with brilliant production, her sensational band, original choreography, latest lighting techniques and all that you expect from shows of such extravagance. Her most recent studio album released in 1999, “Twenty Four Seven,” was a head turner and her 95-minute DVD release last fall, “Celebrate: The Best of Tina Turner,” was an adaptation of a 1999 concert, a celebration of her 60th birthday. Her concert rumours took shape after her performance alongside Beyonce at the Grammy Awards last year, and now they are a reality with the announcement of her concert dates.
