The Smashing Pumpkins will start their UK tour in February.  There tour start with the SECC in Glasgow, Lanarkshire.

One of the most acclaimed bodies of work in music history has been created by the Smashing Pumpkins.  The Smashing Pumpkins formed in Chicago in 1988 have been a influential group that has won numerous awards and accolades.  This influence was evident in their debut album Gish released in 1991.  This album went platinum, which was followed by more and more platinum album including multi-platinum albums that include names like Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness and Siamese Dream.

Other pivotal hits produced by this group include Disarm, Today, 1979, Tonight and Bullet with Butteryfly Wings, Cherub Rock, and Tonight just to name a few.  These songs define the alternative music genre to this day each song resonates to bring in new followers that fall in love with this type of music.

Kelly Clarkson must really feel the need team up with one of the all time greats so she can sell some tickets lol!  After bombing during her last tour, Clarkson and Reba McEntire are hitting the road together starting January 17th, in Dayton, Ohio.

Expect to see some songs with Clarkson and McEntire both singing.  That could be one reason to show up to one of these shows in my opinion.  McEntire just might cover up Clarkson’s voice!

Rascal Flatts currently has some events booked up into 2008 as they come off their new album that came out in September.  The country-pop trio will launch its next round of shows Jan. 17 in Manchester, NH, and then head for New York’s Madison Square Garden the following night. Cities added to the itinerary since last check include Moline, IL; Fort Wayne, IN; and Orlando, FL. Rascal Flatts is also set to play the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in March and headline the first day of the May 3-4 Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, CA.

If I were you, I’d try to get to one of these shows as Rascal Flatts puts on a great show.  If you are into up-beat country/rock then Rascal Flatts is definately a group that you need to see!  Tickets can be found here!
