(November 17), and Electric Factory in Philadelphia (November 25).

The Cure North American Tour

The Cure is postponing its fall tour of North America to spring of 2008.

The group said the current tour schedule “only gives us a couple of weeks to finish our new double album before we hit the road again, and we know this just isn’t enough time to complete the project to our total satisfaction.”

All tickets held for all 2007 North American Cure shows will be valid for the re-scheduled 2008 shows.

XFM’s Big Night Out

Fratellis at XFM’s One Big WeekendXFM have announced details of their now anual Big Night Out in October.

Saturday October 13th sees the radio station celebrate its 10th birthday in style at Brixton Academy. Maximo Park are headliners, and will be joined by a host of special guests who have yet to be announced though will be pretty big - in past years Hard-Fi, The Fratellis, The View, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, We Are Scientists and The Feeling have all played the night.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday August 29 priced at £20 plus booking fees. Doors are from 8pm - 2am.

Genesis ready to rock and roll in America

Genesis just recently finished up their Europe tour and they are now reading to rock and roll in America.  Their US-Canada tour will begin September 7th in Toronto and go through October 13th when they finish with a show in Los Angelas.

The trek, which the couple makes first time, kicks off September 29 in Trump Taj Mahal of Atlantic City (NJ), includes 14 dates, and wraps up November 2 in Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Lopez, and Anthony will visit such major cities as Washington (DC), New York (NY), Toronto (ON), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles (CA), Las Vegas (NV), Houston (TX), and others. Husband, and wife recently finished working in film “El Cantante”, in which Marc played Puerto Rican singer Hector Lavoe, and Jennifer starred as Lavoe’s wife. Hard Rock veterans Van Halen heralded fall 2007 tour with updated lineup. The band received original frontman David Lee Roth, who returned after 22-year absence, and new bassist 16-years old Wolfgang Van Halen. Current tour itinerary is listed below, and includes 29 dates. The trek kicks off September 27 in Charlotte (NC), and wraps up December 11 in Calgary (Alberta).
