Country Music Awards

Former American Idol contestant Carrie Underwood took home Album of the Year, Top Female Vocalist and Best Video awards last night.

Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year for the third time and told interviewers about winning, “It never gets old.”.

Accepting his award, he said, “When I first started playing music, I was in college and I would go rent all my equipment and put it in the back of a pickup truck. The only thing I wanted to do was cut a record as good as Keith Whitley did, and I listened to that music over and over again.”

Brooks and Dunn took the award for vocal duo of the year an unprecedented 14th consecutive time.

Michael Buble Tickets & Tour Dates

Buy Michael Buble Tickets

Michael Buble is coming to the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Illinois on July 23rd and 24th. The Auditorium Theatre, of Roosevelt University, is also home to the Joffrey Ballet and is a National Historic Landmark Theatre. Buble, whose website describes his music as “modern interpretations from a variety of eras,” is promoting his latest album “Call Me Irresponsible.” He draws on inspiration from classic singers such as Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. Get your tickets for the Auditorium Theatre to see Michael Buble perform truly classic hits.

Michael will also be at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 7th and 8th. If you will be in New York, New York on July 31st or August 1st, then get your tickets now to see Michael Buble perform at Radio City Music Hall. This legendary Hall, whose doors opened in 1932 has seen many of the amazing musicians that Buble draws on for inspiration, such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Ella Fitzgerald. Radio City Music Hall went through a 7 month, $70 million dollar restoration in 1999 making it a fabulous venue for any event.

If you’re on the west coast, you can see Michael at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California on August 22nd or 23rd. Pollstar named it the Best Small Outdoor Venue, and this will be a beautiful, intimate setting to see Buble perform any of his hits. He will also be performing at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 20th and 21st. Originally known as the Hennepin, the Orpheum Theatre opened in 1921 and underwent major restoration in 1993. It was even owned by Bob Dylan for a short period of time. Get your Michael Buble tickets for the Orpheum Theatre before they sell out. It should be a great show: a classic singer performing at a classic theatre.

Alison Krauss with Union Station Tickets

Source: stagefronttickets.com

When thinking of bluegrass music, Alison Kraus, Dan Tyminski, Jerry Douglas, Ron Block, and Barry Bales are probably the first people that come to mind. They very much should, as they are all multi-award winning musicians separately. Luckily for you, they will be playing together this summer and we have tickets to all the shows.

Alison Krauss & Union Station, featuring Jerry Douglas, will be honoring fellow bluegrass musician Tony Rice with an Evening of Material from Tony’s 35 Year Career at venues across the country this summer. Each of the artists performing has won multiple awards in their own right.

Alison Krauss has already won 20 Grammy Awards, and Tony Rice is legendary for his ability to cross over genres, while simultaneously keeping in touch with his bluegrass roots. Tony Rice has won several International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, and Alison Krauss has recently helped Alan Jackson produce his new C.D. “Like Red on a Rose.”
