Less than two weeks before the launch of the Deftones US tour, the band has added a dozen more dates.The alt-metal rockers now have more than 40 shows scheduled on the outing, which gets under way May 11 in Mesa, AZ. Cities recently added to the itinerary include Cincinnati and Columbus, OH; Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA; Grand Rapids, MI; Wichita, KS; Omaha, NE; Las Vegas; San Francisco; Seattle; and Portland, OR (two nights); as well as a second night in New York City.

The Deftones will also play double shots in Albuquerque, NM; Dallas; San Antonio, TX; New Orleans; Washington, DC; and Salt Lake City, UT.
