Local DC act Middle Distance Runner looks to have a good year in 2007. This year saw the release of their debut record, Plane in Flames, a delightfully poppy record with some heavy Radiohead influence, but also a dash of Secret Machines and general poppy goodness. Their live shows are a blast, and often bring their substantial following with them. Make sure to check out some songs below, and if you have a chance, stop by one of their sets.
