Lion King Theatre Tickets

The Lion King musical - Julie Taymor directs the stage adaptation of Disney’s hugely successful animated film The Lion King. When the young lion prince Simba is born, his evil uncle Scar is pushed back to second in line to the throne. Scar plots to kill both Simba and his father, King Mufasa, and proclaim himself King. Simba survives the plot, but is led to believe that his father died because of him and he decides to flee the kingdom and live in excile.

This a wonderful musical with many delightful characters. I was amazed how life like the people looked. In some cases it was hard to distringuish between the individual and the costume. You and your whole family will enjoy this musical with its many twists, you will talk about this play for many years to come.

Dirty Dancing, set in a holiday camp in America in 1963, is a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl who falls in love with a dance instructor during a family holiday. To this day, Dirty Dancing remains the biggest independent film of all time and the soundtrack has sold 41 million copies.

Access
Wheelchair access to the auditorium is through a double exit door on Drury Lane into a corridor which leads to the right-hand side of the Dress Circle. There are two spaces for wheelchair users plus one companion in Box D but the doorway is too narrow for motorised wheelchairs. Transfer seating is also available. Wheelchairs are stored in the lobby and each wheelchair user must bring a non-disabled companion.

An infra-red system with five headsets and five neckloops for the hard of hearing is installed in the auditorium.

One guide dog per performance is allowed in Box D.
