Bloomington, Illinois’ Backyard Tire Fire recently released a great new EP entitled Skin and Bones. You can sample the EP here. Their rootsy music can be compared to the Drive-By Truckers, Slobberbone, and Uncle Tupelo, just to name a few.January 30th, 2007 will mark the release of their new full length studio album, Vagabonds and Hooligans.
