Anyone who has ever seen a show @ First Ave has likely seen Conrad near the stage. You couldn’t miss his huge dreads (which have recently been chopped off… eek!)

Anyhow, this sounds like an amazing night of music to help out an amazing guy, do not miss this:

with Koalas, The Mighty Mofos, Tim O’Reagan (of the Jayhawks) with Jim Boquist & Friends, John Munson, Dan Wilson, Matt Wilson, The Retribution Gospel Choir (featuring Alan Sparhawk of Low), Kraig Johnson & The Program, Gary Louris (of the Jayhawks), Jessy Greene, DJ Roy Freedom & DJ John Smith, and other VERY SPECIAL GUESTS.

Proceeds from the show go to the Twin Cities Music Community Trust, a fund recently established for members of the local music community to help defray medical and living expenses of those in times of need.

The impetus for establishment of the trust as well as its first beneficiary is longtime First Avenue production manager, Conrad Sverkerson. The money will go towards covering medical expenses Conrad incurred from an accident this summer.

Recently LeeAnn Weimar went through a very difficult back surgery. The surgery was a lot longer and more intense then the doctors had expected. We are doing a benefit to help LeeAnn cover her overwhelming medical expenses. If you have att ended a concert in the past twenty years in Minneapolis, chances are LeeAnn had her hands in it. She has been a
great asset to any project she does and friend to so many people. This is our time to give back to this exceptional woman.
