Golden Smog, the midwest supergroup which features Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), Kraig Johnson (Run Westy Run/Jayhawks), Dan Murphy (Soul Asylum) & Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), will release their 3rd full length album, and first in 8 years! on July 18th. The new album is entitled "Another Fine Day", and you can sample a few tracks on their myspage page. They will also release a new EP around November.

To celebrate the release of their new album they will play a show at First Avenue on July 23rd.

Gary & Kraig played a few of the new songs together today on 89.3 The Current, you can listen here.
